You are doing a beautiful job MOMS!
Moms have been stretched this year beyond anything we could have imagined. Even though we are coming close to the end, it is far from over. Moms need to hear that they are doing a good job in fact a beautiful job with so much support being taken away from them.
So are moms doing a Beautiful job handling the impossible?
Yes, you are! Moms, I know at times you feel like it’s all coming to pieces, but you are making a masterpiece out of the mess.
No one could have prepared us for motherhood this year.
There wasn’t a warning or manual on how to master motherhood during a pandemic. But you did. You showed up every day and gave the best you could. Some days it was freshly baked bread and organized closets others were bowls of cereal in front of screens. Some days we cried in the bathroom, and others, we laughed around the table. The point is you did a beautiful job during an impossible situation.
Now things are changing once again.
Things are opening up, and life is starting to pick up. Will it be like it was?
Part of me hopes not. I liked the slower pace and more intimate celebrations. I’m happy to stay home and jump on a zoom instead of commuting and dealing with parking.
I know others have struggled with social distance, but I enjoyed the break from constant interactions and feeling like I always had to be on the go.
We have grown and evolved in our motherhood this past year.
We’ve learned to look inside and celebrate the small wins.
Having a baby, raising a toddler, or dealing with virtual school during a worldwide shutdown is unprecedented, but returning to life will be as well.
We have been in our bubbles, and now it’s time to venture out.
It’s ok to feel all the feels nervous, anxious, fearful, excited, exhausted. Give yourself the moments to fail and process during these uncharted times. Lose the judgments on how this all should go. As with parenting, there is no perfect way to transition.
